Ingredients
Whole Green Moong Dal - 1 cup
Rice Flour - 1 tbsp (Optional)
Onion - 1
Green Chilli, Curry leaves, Corriander leaves, salt and hing as per taste
Method
- Wash and soak the moong dal for atleast 4-5 hours. Drain the water and grind it to dosa batter consistency
- Chop the onions, green chilli, curry leaves and corriander leaves to very small pieces and mix along with the batter. Add in the salt, hing and rice flour if desired. Batter is ready
- Heat a skillet, take a laddle full of batter, drizzle few drops of oil and cook on both sides. Healthy pesarattu is ready to serve with any kind of chutney!.
